Member of the Board of the Scientific Society of Civil Procedure Scholars in Kraków. Member of the International Association of Procedural Law, based in Luxembourg, and of the Henri Capitant Association of Friends of French Legal Culture (L’Association Henri Capitant des amis de la culture juridique française). Member of the editorial board of the quarterly journal Polski Proces Cywilny (Polish Civil Procedure). Legal advisor at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. From 2010 to 2015, a member of the Civil Procedure Working Group of the Civil Law Codification Commission.
Graduate of the School of French and European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and former scholarship holder at the University of Geneva.
A specialist in civil procedure and international civil procedure. His research focuses on civil and constitutional procedural law, judicial practice—especially aspects of the application of civil procedural law and comparative procedural law. Author of over 150 publications, including several monographs, editor of several volumes of the System of Civil Procedural Law, and of a commentary on the Code of Civil Procedure.
