March 23 was established as the Polish-Hungarian Friendship Day. The declaration on its establishment was adopted in 2007 by decision of all members of the Hungarian Parliament and four days later the Polish Parliament also adopted the declaration by public acclamation.

Accepting the invitation of Central European Academy of the University of Miskolc, and the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law Aleksander Stępkowski, professor at the University of Warsaw, former President, current spokesman of the Polish Supreme Court, gave a lecture to the PhD students of the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law participating in the central-european PhD programme, on 18 March 2022 in the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law.
