„Third workshop: Polish-Hungarian Research Platform” International Scientific Conference

On July 30, 2021, the “Second workshop: Polish-Hungarian Research Platform” International Scientific Conference was held. This event was organised as part of an “Polish-Hungarian Research Platform” international research project implemented by the Institute of Justice in cooperation with the official partner of the project, the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law in Budapest. The event was attended by prominent Polish and Hungarian representatives of legal sciences.

The event will take place on July 30, 2021 (Friday) from 9:15 – 14:15 on the Zoom platform. The conference will be organized as part of an international “Polish-Hungarian Research Platform” research project, implemented by the Institute of Justice in cooperation with the official partner of the project, the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law in Budapest.

 


Visit of a delegation from the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law at the Institute of Justice

On July 15-16, a delegation from the Hungarian Ferenc Mádla Institute of Comparative Law visited the Institute of Justice in Warsaw.

The Hungarian delegation included: the director of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, prof. dr. János Ede Szilágyi, Dr. Katarzyna Zombory, Dr. Márta Benyusz. The purpose of the visit was to discuss current projects carried out by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law and the Institute of Justice.

Stock taking event on the “Future of Europe” conferences organised by the Ministry of Justice and the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law on 25 June 2020 titled ‘Keynote discussion on launching the Conference on the Future of Europe: Perspectives for an interinstitutional agreement, expectations of the Member States and the European institutions’ and 21 September 2020 on ‘Dialogue on the future of Europe: how to build a more effective and genuinely strong Union?’.

Religious symbols in public sphere in the legal order

On May 31 2021, the webinar was one of the events of the Research Group Freedom of conscience and religion in Europe.  The research was carried out within the framework of the Central European Professors’ Network coordinated by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law. The main organisers of the event are Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, Institute of Justice in Warsaw, Central European Association for Comparative Law, Faculty of Law and Administration University of Opole and Faculty of Canon Law of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw.
