Dzierżoniów municipality – film screening on the problem of domestic violence

On June 5, 2023, an unusual film screening took place on the big screen at the “Zbyszek” Cinema, within the framework of the “Justice” Program financed from Norwegian and national funds “Implementation of integrated programs for the prevention of domestic violence – the establishment of a Center for Families in the Municipality of Dzierżoniów” The event, titled “Face of Violence”, was the result of film workshops held over the past few months and attended by six elementary schools in Dzierżoniów.

The film screening was aimed at raising public awareness of the problem of violence. As part of the film workshop, students were involved in the process of creating films under the watchful eye of actor and director Robert Wrzosek, in which they depicted various aspects of violence and its consequences. Each film was unique and conveyed a unique story, touching on different aspects of violence.

The “Faces of Violence” film screening was not only an opportunity to honor the students’ creativity and commitment, but also an important step in building public awareness of violence and its prevention. Thanks to such initiatives, society can understand the problem of violence more and work together to create a safe and empathetic environment for all.
