Dzierżoniów Municipality – Training at the partner Blue Line IPZ

On 2-3.06.2023 there was a training organized by the partner of the Blue Line IPZ project under the “Justice” Program financed from Norwegian and national funds “Implementation of integrated programs for the prevention of domestic violence – the establishment of a Center for Families in the Municipality of Dzierżoniów”.

It was an extremely valuable experience for employees of the Social Welfare Center in Dzierżoniów officers of the District Police Station in Dzierżoniów, education (PP3 Dzierżoniów, Public Kindergarten No2 ” Przedszkole Na Górce” Public Kindergarten No. 7, Primary School No. 9 in Dzierżoniów, SP Trójka Dzierżoniów, Non-public Elementary School named after Janusz Korczak in Dzierżoniów. Janusz Korczak Elementary School in Dzierżoniów, Non-public Elementary School “Education and Family” in Dzierżoniów ILO Dzierżoniów, Special School and Educational Center in Dzierżoniów psychologists, pedagogues and various institutions and institutions, such as Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic in Dzierżoniów and its branch in Bielawa Crisis Intervention Center, District Court ( family judgment probation team, GR. ZI, PCPR Dzierżoniów District Support Center of the detention center.

The main purpose of the training was to transfer knowledge and skills in the field of counteracting violence. Participants had the opportunity to explore the subject of violence and learn about various methods of violence prevention and intervention. The training program included presentations, practical workshops, panel discussions and case studies, which provided participants with a variety of tools and strategies for dealing with violence.

The trip to Warsaw was also an excellent opportunity to establish contacts and exchange experiences between different institutions, and to build a network of support to more effectively counter violence. The psychological workshops were conducted by Ms. Maja Kuzmicz – since January 2023. Manager of the National Emergency Service for Victims of Violence, psychologist, trainer, certified specialist in helping victims of domestic violence and supervisor. Workshops on the law, changes in the law were conducted by Ms. Agnieszka Olszewska – lawyer, family mediator, training trainer, employee of the National Emergency Service for Victims of Family Violence “Blue Line” and the Activation Foundation.
