Inauguration of the “Polish-Hungarian Research Platform” project

On May 10, 2021 at 4 pm, the inauguration of the international research project entitled “Polish-Hungarian Research Platform”, whose official partner is the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law in Budapest took place. The project was officially inaugurated by the Director of the Institute of Justice – dr hab. Marcin Wielec
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland – Mr. Marcin Romanowski, Director of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law in Budapest – Professor Dr. habil. Szilágyi János Ede, President of the Supreme Court of Hungary – Professor Dr. András Zs. Varga, as well as participants of this research project – Polish and Hungarian representatives of legal sciences.
During the meeting, the participants of the project were thanked for their willingness to take part in it, and the goals and objectives of the Polish-Hungarian Research Platform project were presented. This research project is to lead to an in-depth analysis of the legislative process regarding the amendment of the constitution, the rule of law, the reform of the administrative judiciary and the effectiveness of the judiciary. For this purpose, four Polish-Hungarian research teams have been established to analyze these issues. Each team consists of six outstanding representatives of legal science – both theoreticians and practitioners.
In addition, during the meeting, the official logo of the Polish-Hungarian Research Platform was presented.
