IV National Family Law Seminar “Family judiciary. Idea – practice – challenges “

On December 3, 2019, the 4th National Seminar on Family Law “Family Judiciary. Idea – practice – challenges” took place. The subject of the discussion was, first of all, the most important current problems of family judiciary. Postulates were formulated aimed at achieving an optimal model of the mentioned judiciary, concerning, inter alia, the specifics of the work of a family judge, subsidiary bodies of a family court, procedural and substantive issues.

The seminar was attended by guests from research centers from all over Poland, representatives of the Ministry of Justice and employees of the Institute of Justice. The papers were presented by (in the order they were delivered): prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Balwicka-Szczyrba and Dr. Bartosz Szolc-Nartowski (University of Gdansk), prof. dr hab. Marek Andrzejewski (Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, prof. dr hab. Wanda Stojanowska and prof. dr hab. Mirosław Kosek (Cardinal Wyszynski University in Warsaw), Alina Prusinowska-Marek, Dr. Małgorzata Łączkowska-Porawska, Dr. Maciej Domański, Dr. Jerzy Słyk, Dr. Rafał Łukasiewicz.
