CONFERENCE
The International Scientific Conference „Freedom, Religion and Sovereignty. Modern Phenomena and Future Challenges” took place at the headquarters of the Institute of Justice, on September 27-28, 2019. In this Conference took part outstanding experts, both Polish and foreign, specializing in issues related to religious freedom and freedom of speech, as well as the issues of sovereignty.
The conference proceedings were officially inaugurated by the Director of the Institute of Justice, dr Marcin Wielec, who emphasized the importance of comparative legal statistics, allowing the exchange of experience related to regulations and practice existing in the legal systems of individual countries, pointing out at the same time significant importance of the possibility of developing regulations ensuring more effective protection of freedoms and rights and positively affecting the prevention of the causes of religious crime and preventing restrictions on freedom, including religious freedom.
