Prawo karne powinno zajmować się najważniejszymi fake-newsami, czyli dezinformacją, która zagraża bezpieczeństwu państwa. Dezinformacją o mniejszym znaczeniu powinny zająć się inne gałęzie prawa, np. prawo administracyjne – stwierdził Dyrektor Instytutu Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości, kierownik Katedry Postępowania Karnego na WPiA UKSW w Warszawie, członek Central European Professor’s Network dr hab. Marcin Wielec podczas panelu „System prawny wobec dezinformacji” na CYBERSEC Forum w Krynicy Zdroju. Instytut Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości w Warszawie jest jednostką badawczą podlegającą Ministerstwu Sprawiedliwości.

Wyniki Konkursu – Młodzi o przyszłości – wyzwania przed Polską  i Europą

W dniu 17 sierpnia 2021 r. odbyło się posiedzenie Kapituły „Konkursu na najlepszą pracę  w zakresie komunikacji strategicznej, pt. Młodzi o przyszłości – wyzwania przed Polską  i Europą”, ustalonego Zarządzeniem dyrektora Instytutu Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości z dnia 11 maja 2021 r. Celem Konkursu było ożywienie i wzmocnienie dyskusji młodych ludzi dotyczącej aktualnych i fundamentalnych wyzwać stojących przed Polska i Europą, a także dyskusji nt. zagadnień z zakresu edukacji prawnej. Uczestnicy w ramach konkursu zobowiązani byli do przygotowania eseju na tematy wskazane przez Instytut. Po długich obradach nagrodę główną tj. jednorazowe miesięczne stypendium stażowe o wartości 10 000 złotych brutto w Centrum Analiz Strategicznych IWS przyznano:

Visit of a delegation from the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law at the Institute of Justice

On July 15-16, a delegation from the Hungarian Ferenc Mádla Institute of Comparative Law visited the Institute of Justice in Warsaw.

The Hungarian delegation included: the director of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, prof. dr. János Ede Szilágyi, Dr. Katarzyna Zombory, Dr. Márta Benyusz. The purpose of the visit was to discuss current projects carried out by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law and the Institute of Justice.

Davor Derenčinović has been elected a judge of the European Court of Human Rights

The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) has elected Davor Derenčinović – Head of the Department of Criminal Law at the University of Zagreb and member of the working group on „The impact of digital platforms and social media on freedom of expression and pluralism” of the Central European Professors’ Network coordinated by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law – as judge to the European Court of Human Rights in respect of Croatia.
